about

reading wild is a reading blog by Sam Wildman.

For the most part, books featured on reading wild will be young adult fiction or the emerging ‘upper ya’ genre. There are a few reasons for this. One is that Sam has worked with that demographic in the past through CYSS and the US Army. Another is that she likes to share book recommendations with her younger sisters and their friends. But the main reason is that Sam is still pretty much a kid at heart. She enjoys those books and their simplicity. And when she finally gets off her lazy ass and starts writing she intends to write for that particular age group.

Many of her reviews of novels with a sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, or otherwise geeky association are joint hosted over at Nerdophiles.
